Monitoring getprospect.com Usage
Learn how to track your email search and verification credits, and why some metrics require manual verification in the GetProspect dashboard.
API Limitation Notice
getprospect.com's current public API (v1/v2) does not expose real-time credit balances through standard endpoints. While we can detect your **Plan Tier** and **Account Type**, detailed credit consumption must be viewed in your official dashboard.
Retrieve Your API Key
- 01.Log in to your getprospect.com Account .
- 02.Navigate to Settings > Integrations > API.
- 03.Copy your **Secret API Key** and paste it into the API Key Health dashboard.
Understanding Your Quota
GetProspect offers two types of credits that work differently:
Email Credits
Used for finding new valid emails. One credit is deducted per successful email found.
Verification Credits
Used for verifying existing email lists. Check if email addresses are valid.
To view your specific remaining balance, visit the Usage Section in your getprospect.com dashboard.
Free Plan Details
- Free plans include 50 email credits per month (for finding emails)
- Free plans include 100 verification credits per month (for validating emails)
- Credits renew every 30 days
- One free account per person
Security & Privacy
Your API keys are encrypted using **AES-256-GCM**. Our health checks are **read-only** and designed to:
- Verify your account is active and not suspended.
- Identify your plan tier (Free/Paid) to provide accurate context.
- Detect key invalidation or revocation instantly.
Best Practices
Use Dashboard Notes
Since the API doesn't export real-time credit balances, use the **Internal Notes** field in your API Key Health dashboard to record your last known balance and set a manual check schedule.
Common Questions
Does the health check consume my credits?
No. Our health checks hit GetProspect's account management endpoints, which do not deduct email or verification credits.
What does the "Free Leads Allowance" mean in the dashboard?
The API returns "countFreeEntities" which represents your total available entities/leads on the free tier. For GetProspect, this is tracked separately from the monthly email and verification credits.
Where can I see my exact credit balance?
Visit the Usage Section in your GetProspect dashboard to see your current email credits and verification credits balance.
Return to Dashboard
Once you've confirmed your usage, you can return to your central inventory to manage other keys.
API Key Health relies on official getprospect.com public API endpoints. If getprospect.com releases a new Management API with credit balance exports, we will update this integration automatically.
